Ephesians 1:15-19 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,
Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling,
...and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe,

Day 1—The Realm of Government Called Zion.
An elderly friend of mine quite often challenged me with statements that left me with more questions than answers. It crowded me into God’s Word. I learned to stay with a Scripture until it became inscribed in my heart. I studied it in the Original as much as possible. Sometimes, in some of the most important matters, I had to be satisfied that my heart could receive what my mind could not grasp. It dawned upon me one day that my mind was following my heart. I’ve learned that God’s Word is faithful and true, even in matters that I cannot understand. With the heart I believe, and then, when it’s been proven, my mind enters in and knows.
II Corinthians 10:3-5—For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; NIrV—I do live in the world. But I don't fight my battles the way the people of the world do. The weapons I fight with are not the weapons the world uses. In fact, it is just the opposite. My weapons have the power of God to destroy the camps of the enemy. I destroy every claim and every reason that keeps people from knowing God. I keep every thought under control in order to make it obey Christ.
DEAR FATHER, please let us know that our warfare is not with one another. Show us that the mighty weapons You have given us are for winning battles that go on in our own minds. I lay hands on my own head. I command the thoughts that have been warring against You, and against the ways of Your Kingdom, to be brought down. Bring our fellowship on to know the true principles of fighting spiritual battles.
It is in Zion that we shall find the strength of salvation.—Isaiah 33:5,6
